Anyone seen the film Skyfall directed by Sam Mendes, starring Daniel Craig in the lead as James Bond has seen him in the Barbour Beacon Jacket under the gloomy skies of Scotland in the film’s third act.
I’m a huge fan of Daniel Craig as James Bond and in every installment since 2006’s timeless classic Casino Royale, I’ve been in love with his wardrobe. Clearly, the dude has a great sense of style not only when it comes to women, but as well as clothes, cars, you name it.
Yes, the previous James Bond films had all those elements, too, but I’m referring specifically to the character limned by Daniel Craig. He’s just a different beast.
His Skyfall was released in 2012 and it went on to earn the studios over $1 billion worldwide. Next time we’ll be seeing Daniel Craig and for the last time as James Bond is in Cary Fukunaga’s No Time To Die set for release next year.
As for the Barbour Beacon Jacket that Craig is wearing in the film, currently it’s on sale and any 007 fans out there can jump at this opportunity and snatch it.
Keep in mind, though, because this is not that exact jacket worn in the film. The very first one that was designed was worn by Daniel Craig in Skyfall, and was a modified version of the Sports Jacket that was created in 2011 as part of a collaboration with Japanese designer Tokihito Yoshida.
It would be quite cool if the one that Daniel Craig wore was on sale. But again if that one ever goes on sale, it’ll be quite expensive. If it does go on sale, I’ll write about it.
