I think if it was up to me, I would have probably written this into a law that if we men go out without Sauvage by Dior there would be a hefty fine involved.
Impressing others aside, if you’re not wearing a fragrance like this that is noble, confident, manly, and even arrogant, then you’re, my friend, what we say, incomplete.
We all have a wild side. And our wild side is intact and designed by nature. This side of our wildness is good when we are introducing just the glimpse of it to the world depending on the situation.
I think Sauvage by Dior is that perfect creation to help enhance and interpret that good side of our wildness without even uttering a word. It’s a side that’s enjoyable at best.
We just let Sauvage do its work. Let it get wild in us.
The Story Behind Sauvage Dior
The nose behind the fragrance is the french perfumer Francios Demachy. Born in Cannes, Demarchy has lived almost all his life in Grasse, where his father had a pharmacy. He studied dentistry, physiotherapy, then after working at Mane, studied at the school of perfumery company Charabot.
Dior launched this new fragrance Sauvage in 2015. The name originates from the Fragrance Eau Sauvage from 1966. But the two have nothing in common as they are not part of the same collection.
Sauvage by Dior takes its inspiration from the wild, the blue skies, spaces wide as deserts under the sun. In case you don’t know, the word Sauvage means wild in English.
Why I like it
Due to its super muskiness, confidence, and assurance. Wearing Sauvage by Dior boosts the ego. You will realize you’re in style as that sharp smell from time to time brings back your attention to it. Makes you deep inside feel good. Not many fragrances do this, in my opinion.
Sauvage by Dior is one of those fragrances you must keep for a special occasion or, for that special someone who has been under the radar.
Once opened, Sauvage’s top notes burst with the juicy freshness, unleashing its powerful woody trail, raw and confident at once.
