I have used colognes from the most cheapest ones to the most pricey ones. Clearly, my favorites are more than one. But, Coach for men I think is still the best men’s cologne out there.
When it comes to colognes, there’s a rule I follow. I don’t stick with one or two. Even if I have some still left, I buy a different one. Sticking with at least four to five different brands is the way to go.
And colognes should be used for different occasions. For just stepping out with friends, for example, I use the one that I don’t use when I’m attending a party.
Cologne can also be worn when you’re not going anywhere. I do. It doesn’t mean I don’t shower or my clothes are not washed. A good cologne makes me feel nice.
And when it comes to wearing a cologne, less is more. I have encountered folks, whose cologne have bothered me from across the room.
No matter how good the smell or the brand, makes sure a small amount is used.
Coach for men as I have used has an aromatic, crisp, woody scent to it with a fresh opening. It was developed by IFF (International Flavors & Fragrances) perfumers Bruno Jovanovic and Anne Flipo.
- Top Notes: Kumquat, Bergamot, Green Nashi Pear
- Base: Vetiver Haiti LMR, Ambergris, Suede
- Heart: Coriander, Geranium, Cardamom
Launched in 2017, and actor James Franco featuring as the face of the fragrance, Coach for men is specifically made for us, the modern man.
I bought my first one two years ago and since I’ve also purchased a few more from different brands, I came across the empty bottle for Coach in the closet today. It immediately drove me insane in a good way, because it inspired me to write this post and also get me a new one soon. You can, too.
